Children are the future and early childhood educators are the builders of that future. They are the steady hands and caring hearts that nurture curiosity, spark imagination, and lay the foundation for every child’s journey of lifelong learning. When we invest in the people who guide our youngest learners, we are investing in the future of our families, our workforce, and our entire community.

That is the vision behind the Foundations for Success Conference—a professional development event created by and for early childhood professionals in southern New Mexico. Organized by the Success Partnership’s Early Childhood Education Coalition, the conference ensures that educators don’t have to travel out of the region or spend large amounts of money to access high-quality training.

This year’s conference will take place on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at the Doña Ana Community College East Mesa Campus from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The day will feature expert-led sessions designed to inspire and strengthen educators, including topics such as identity, fostering healthy and inclusive classroom environments, culturally and environmentally relevant early literacy and play, social-emotional learning, leadership, communication, navigating special education, STEAM activities for young learners, and more!

What makes this event unique is its commitment to accessibility:

2023’s inaugural conference was a resounding success, bringing together educators, students, and community members from across Doña Ana County and beyond. This year promises to be even more powerful, with new sessions, new presenters, and new opportunities to learn and connect.

The Foundations for Success Conference is more than just a training—it’s a movement to honor and uplift the people who shape our children’s earliest experiences. By coming together, we ensure that every child in southern New Mexico has a stronger foundation to thrive in school and in life.

Registration is now open at www.F4SConference.com, and space is limited. We encourage educators, students, and community partners to secure their spot today.
